Lori J West
Lori J. West, 55, of Washington, IN went to her Heavenly Home on November 28, 2017. She was born on September 29, 1962 in Linton, IN to Harold and Geraldine Smith. She was a 1980 graduate of Worthington-Jefferson High School and graduated from Vincennes University in 1987. She worked at Christ United Methodist Church in Washington, IN as the Administrative Assistant for 16 years. She was an honorary active member of Alpha Psi Chapter, Psi Iota Xi. She was initiated in 1988 where she served as an officer and committee member, and was president in 1993-1995, 2008, and 2010.
Lori is survived by her children Joshua West (Gretchen) of Houston, TX and Benjamin West of Alpharetta, GA; faithful friend Louis Dant of Washington, IN; mother Geraldine Smith of Worthington, IN; and several special friends. Lori is preceded in death by her father Harold Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2pm with Pastor Ken Wells officiating. A Memorial Visitation will take place prior to the service from 12-2pm. Online condolences may be made at www.gillsince1872.com.
