Juanita   House (May)
Juanita House, 89, of Washington, IN passed away March 14, 2017 in Petersburg. Born June 19, 1927 in Vincennes, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mabel (McCrary) May. She graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1945. On August 30, 1970, she married Edward “Ed” House in Washington, IN. Juanita worked as a switchboard operator at Daviess Community Hospital. She attended Aikman Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband, Ed House; two sons, Eldon F. Robinson and Roger Lee Robinson; two daughters, Judith Ann Robinson and Reba J. Arvin; two step-daughters, Debra House Miller and Andrea Higginbotham; four sisters, Carol Jean Rediger, Vera Joann Rogowski, Naomi Ruth Thomas, and Nina Marie Way; two brothers, Delmar Dudley May and Asil Denzil May, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, and a grandson, Kyle Birt. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Gill Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Raymond officiating. A private burial will be at New Veale Creek Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.gillsince1872.com
